Dangerous Goods Transport

Ian Wright & Associates have an ongoing association and interest in the transport of Dangerous Goods both packaged and bulk. Ian has been an active industry representive of the National Advisory Committee for the transport of Dangerous Goods when he was working as a National Manager of a bulk chemical tanker operation in the transport industry.

While at the NRTC he represented the commission on the ACT DG Committee and was heavily involved with further development of the Dangerous Goods regulations and the Australian Code for The Transport of Dangerous Goods by Road and Rail.

  • PACIA (Plastics & Chemical Association) Carrier Accreditation Audit Services are available in accordance with the PACIA Transportation Code of Practice.

  • Carrier Accreditation covers carriers servicing PACIA members.

  • The scheme covers the scope of operations, vehicle types, tanks, packaged goods, classes of DG's, training systems, safety programs and emergency planning etc;

  • Other DG's services cover standard operating procedures and safe systems of compliance in acordance with the current Australian Dangerous Goods Code and various State and Territory regulations.
